This week we recap this based on true events movie starring Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst. They may have changed his name, but they couldn't change the creep factor or his implied guilt of at least 2 murders (and accessory to another). While well never know exactly what happened to his wife, he do know he had a wall of windows. And that speaks for itself. 

What kind of messy intrigue are you involved with? The answer for our teenage assassin is, well...a lot. Anything she can find honestly. Even after adamantly stating she will not get involved. All while navigating a love triangle between her guard and the prince. Ladies and Gents, it's time for Courtney to introduce Rose to the cult she's been begging for by dragging her further into the SJM universe with this book discussion. 

On the heels of TTPD's release we needed to feel... Well, tortured. Emotionally mangled. Cruel manipulation. Some less than honorable intentions if you will. And this movie delivered from the joyless, unsupervised teenagers, all the way to the vehicular manslaughter and a surprise funeral revenge plot? Yes, please. This recap is almost as wild as the subject material. 

We recap for you, this unintentional comedic masterpiece, starring Gina Rodriguez and Ariana Greenblatt. We will never forgive TikTok for delaying our watching of "Damsel," the 2024 dark fantasy starring the phenomenal Millie Bobby Brown. This movie is all about feminine rage and revenge, so buckle up girly pop, we are diving into a deep pit to settle some old royal family debts. Not willingly, of course. When an ambitious young woman tells a little white lie on a plane to impress the hot British guy beside her, she has no idea how far she will have to take it. After all, doesn't she know the first rule of a rom-com? The stranger sitting beside you on a plane is someone who you will FOR SURE have to deal with for the rest of your life.

On our search for a modern Rom-Com that ticks all our boxes brought us to the 2024 romantic comedy Upgraded, staring Camila Mendes, Archie Renaux, and our queen Marisa Tommie (who should be wearing a cape and eating men). Did this rom-com do it for us? You'll have to tune in to find out. But I'll give you a spoiler: we had a blast recapping it and laughed our little heads off. 

 

Rose was dying to watch Anyone But You for the podcast. A rom-com enemies to lovers feature two hot actors? This was right up our alley. However, while we usually lovingly drag movies over the coals, this movie we tie to train tracks. This movie really got us going. So buckle up and prepare, we are on our bullshit this episode. This episode we recap the wacky thriller You Get Me staring Bella Thorne and a grown man trying to pass for a teenage boy. When young guy finds the perfect window during his 24hr break up from his girlfriend to hook up with another girl, he gets what he deserves--an obsessed stalker who infiltrates his life, seduces his friends, and takes out anyone in the way. We aren't sure what the game plan is here, but it's pure girlboss energy, to be honest with you. This movie is so bad it's good. Don't miss our hilarious and unserious recap/discussion of this movie.
